Man Utd REJECTED Deadline Day bid for Antony
Manchester United rejected Deadline Day loan offers from Real Betis for Antony and Christian Eriksen, according to reports.
The Red Devils duo were both linked with an exit during the final few weeks of the summer window, however Man Utd turned down a double bid from Real Betis, as per The Daily Mail.
Scott McTominay (permanent) and Jadon Sancho (loan) both left Old Trafford on Transfer Deadline Day and Erik ten Hag was unwilling to let anyone else leave before the end of the window.

As a result, Man Utd opted to reject Real Betis’ bid to sign both Antony and Eriksen on season-long loan deals.
Although Fabrizio Romano stated that Real Betis didn’t submit a late bid for Antony, The Daily Mail have insisted that a loan offer was turned down by Man Utd.
Eriksen and Antony have amassed a mere 18 minutes of combined action during Man Utd’s first three Premier League games of the season, with Ten Hag preferred other options so far this campaign.

Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo have been favoured ahead of Eriksen in central midfield, and Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho are ahead of Antony in the right-winger pecking order.
While Antony now looks set to stay at Old Trafford until at least January, Eriksen remains of interest to his former club Ajax, and they could launch a late pursuit before the Eredivisie transfer window shuts on 2 September.
What has Antony said?
Antony, who cost Man Utd a whopping €95 million in 2022, recently stated that Red Devils fans will see an improvement this season.
“I have a lot of objectives, ones I write down for myself,” he told The Mirror. “I definitely need more goal participations and to score more.
“Rest assured, you'll hear the name Antony in relation to goals and assists. I always set out objectives. I put them down on paper, rather than on my phone. It allows me to visualise things and to then step onto the pitch with this in mind.”
Antony has three years left on his Man Utd contract, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €28m.
