Man Utd and Chelsea battle for 17-year-old Sporting CP wonderkid
Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham are looking at the possibility of signing the Sporting CP winger Geovany Quenda, according to reports.
Outlet HITC has claimed that the 17-year-old winger is being looked at by Premier League clubs ahead of the window being open next year.
There is a sticking point, though, and that is the supposed €100 million release clause inserted in his current deal.

It's not clear whether any of the clubs can manage to convince Sporting CP to let him leave for an amount less than his exit clause.
Man Utd's co-owners Ineos, who are heading football operations at the club, are looking to bring in fresh young talent and move away from playing extortionate amounts for their targets.
So far, with recruitment chief Dan Ashworth at the helm, the side have signed Sekou Kone and Samuel Lusale, as well as Chido Obi-Martin, whose move from Arsenal is yet to be ratified.

An Antony replacement?
Quenda is a right winger who can also play as a wing-back. Antony was bought for his flair as well as his defensive acumen, but things have not worked out quite so well yet for the Brazil international.
Chelsea are another club who are in the market for fresh young talent that they can develop. But the Blues are awaiting the arrival of Kendry Paez and Estevao Willian from South America, with both players expected to be in the first team and get regular minutes for Enzo Maresca's side next season.
Sporting CP handed Quenda his first professional contract last year. He provided 20 goal contributions in 33 appearances for the Under-23s last season before being called up to the first team.
Head coach Ruben Amorim said of his role. "He can play in several positions, he has a lot of quality and irreverence. He is another option."
