Mikel Arteta’s salary: Arsenal manager’s wage revealed after signing new contract
Details of Mikel Arteta’s new salary at Arsenal have been revealed, with the Gunners’ boss landing a “significantly higher” basic wage after signing a new three-year deal with the club on Thursday.
The uncertainty over Arteta’s contract situation at the Emirates Stadium has finally been resolved. There was little doubt that the Spaniard would sign a new deal with the Gunners, yet with his previous agreement expiring in June 2025, concerns over his future had quietly been growing.

Arsenal announced on 12 September, though, that Arteta had signed a new deal with the club, extending his stay until 2027.
FootballTransfers reported in February that the Premier League giants were in talks with the former Manchester City assistant boss over an extension that would boast a significant salary rise, and these have come to fruition.

What is Mikel Arteta’s salary
Arteta will earn £10 million per year over the course of his three-year deal as his standard salary, the Telegraph reports.
On top of this figure, the Spaniard can also be enhanced via bonus payments.
This is described as a “significant” increase on his previous salary, which the Telegraph reports at £9m per year before bonuses.
Arsenal’s commitment to giving Arteta a new deal worth a total of £30m is seen as their buy-in to the manager’s vision for the club.
He is aiming to have a squad of 20 “quality players” plus goalkeepers, which will mean offloading some fringe players in the next transfer windows.
Arteta, meanwhile, has showed his capacity to be patient and wait for the right opportunities. This was demonstrated in the summer, when he refused to spend more than €100 million on a striker, with Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting CP and Victor Osimhen both linked with a move to the club.
