Arsenal and Liverpool battle for Guler
Arsenal and Liverpool are still keen on a potential transfer move for Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler, according to reports.
The 19-year-old is struggling for playing time this season and CaughtOffside have made the claim that the two Premier League heavyweights are keen on signing him.
Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti has continued to leave the Turkey international out of the starting line-up and there have been suggestions that he will make the move away on loan.

But despite the interest from Liverpool and Arsenal, it's thought that Guler wishes to remain with Real Madrid, believing that he will eventually be able to forge a way into the first XI.
Guler is not enjoying the best of times at Real and suggestions earlier this month stated that a return to Turkey isn't off the cards.
Fenerbahce are paying close attention to Guler's struggles, according to Spanish media. He made the move to the club in the summer of 2023, but his start to life at Real Madrid was anything but easy.
A pre-season injury and subsequent setbacks meant that Guler only began featuring in the second half of the previous campaign.

He enjoyed encouraging form towards the end of the season and even at Euro 2024 with his nation.
Fenerbahce to bring back Guler?
A report from AS, said in early October that Guler's ex-club Fenerbahce are keeping tabs on his situation with a view to potentially bringing their wonderkid home.
It is claimed that Fenerbahce are planning to enquire about the youngster's availability ahead of the January window, with the motivation behind the transfer not only sporting. The outlet asserts that Fener want to upstage hated rivals Galatasaray, who created a lot of buzz when they pulled off the surprise signing of Victor Osimhen.
