‘Mark my words…’ – Saka makes Arsenal prediction amid transfer rumours
Arsenal ace Bukayo Saka has made strong a prediction about teammate Kai Havertz, who continues to be in red-hot form for Mikel Arteta’s side.
The Gunners sit third in the Premier League table, undefeated through seven matches, and have established themselves as strong contenders to take Manchester City’s crown.
Havertz has been a major reason for the resurgence of the Emirates club, having scored four goals in seven top-flight games after bagging 13 last term. Saka expects that this type of return from the Germany international will only get better.

Speaking to CBS Sports, he said: “I’ve always thought Kai’s an unbelievable player. Everyone in the dressing room did too. We’re so happy that he’s showing that.
“He’s going to score a lot of goals this season, mark my words.”
Romano on Arsenal striker hunt
Despite Havertz’s form, Arsenal continue to be linked with a transfer for a high-profile No.9.
FootballTransfers understands that there is no intention of selling Gabriel Jesus in the January transfer window, yet Arteta could open the door for the Brazilian to leave the club next summer, in which case the Gunners would be in the market for a new striker.
Fabrizio Romano has addressed the rumours in his column for the Daily Briefing but was characteristically conservative when it came to speculating on the subject.
“The North London club monitored their options during the summer transfer window but in the end, decided not to bring in a new frontman,” he said.
“There’s a possibility that Arsenal try to sign a new striker in 2025 but it has not been decided as their full focus is on this season and the club are very confident about the current campaign.”
There is nothing fans didn’t already know in that update, with Arsenal previously having been linked to the likes of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres.
One name gaining increasing attention, meanwhile, is Egypt forward Omar Marmoush, who has eight goals and four assists in six Bundesliga matches this season with Eintracht Frankfurt.
With an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of just €17.3 million, he is the type of price Arsenal will appreciate and way below the €100m quotes they have received previously.
