According to TEAMtalk, this has put the 22-year-old left back on the radar of several big clubs, including Man Utd and Chelsea.

At the former club, Erik ten Hag is eagerly looking for a new left-back due to the injury-proneness of Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw.

AZ brought Moller Wolfe to the Netherlands last year after the Alkmaar team had to say goodbye to Milos Kerkez, who left for Bournemouth for €17.9 million. The Norwegian international made the transfer from SK Brann for €2.5m and immediately became a key player.

Man Utd battle Chelsea

According to the above-mentioned outlet, the full-back of AZ is being followed by big clubs from various top leagues, with Chelsea and Man Utd explicitly mentioned. Who the two Premier League giants are competing with is not clear.

Both Man Utd and Chelsea are struggling with personnel problems at left-back. Ten Hag has Malacia and Shaw in his side, but due to injuries, the Dutch coach has not been able to use the two for some time.

At Chelsea, Enzo Maresca is not convinced by Ben Chilwell, who is allowed to leave in the winter and could return to Leicester, FootballTransfers understands. For that reason, the Londoners want to sign a new left back.

Moller Wolfe joined AZ last year and signed a five-year contract at the time, which means he is tied down until 2028. The Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of the energetic defender was equal to the transfer fee that AZ paid at the time but has since risen to no less than €10.6m.
