'Next Mudryk' scores FOUR as Arsenal & Liverpool circle
Georgiy Sudakov has significantly boosted his reputation after netting four goals and providing one assist during Shakhtar Donetsk’s 5-1 win over LNZ Cherkasy on Sunday.
The Ukraine midfielder, who has frequently been compared to international team-mate Mykhailo Mudryk in recent years, is wanted by a host of top Premier League clubs and he could be on the move in 2025.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs who have been linked with Sudakov over the past year, while Liverpool and Manchester City are ready to step up their interest, according to Fichajes.

Sudakov scored Shakhtar’s first, third, fourth and fifth goals during their 5-1 rout of LNZ Cherkasy, while he provided the assist for Oleksandr Zubdov’s strike in the 26th minute.
As a result, he now has seven goals and two assists in eight league matches so far this season, although the Ukrainian is yet to register a goal contribution in his two Champions League appearances in 2024-25.
Napoli reportedly had a €40 million bid for Sudakov turned down in January, with Shakhtar eager to earn a similar fee to the initial €70m Chelsea paid to sign Mudryk in January 2023.
His performance this weekend will no doubt have impressed multiple scouts across the Premier League and Sudakov’s chances of securing a move to England will have increased as a result.

What has Georgiy Sudakov said?
In May, Sudakov spoke to iNews about his friendship with Mudryk and his transfer aspirations.
“We are in touch on a daily basis,” Sudakov admitted when asked about the Chelsea star. “He is a big friend of mine. Over the last two months he has played a lot more and has been much more successful.
“The beginning for him was quite tough, mentally and physically, but step by step he is getting there. When we play in the national team together I have seen how much he has grown as the season has progressed.
He continued: “I was telling Misha [Mudryk] about how much I want to play in the Premier League and how it would be great to play in the same team.
“Misha told me that I was not ready for the kind of pressure that happens in England and if I do come I need to be ready for that. But I am.”
