Alisson to leave Liverpool? Transfer stance on 'top' player revealed
Alisson links to Bayern Munich are 'wide of the mark,' according to German media.
The Liverpool superstar is facing an uncertain future at the club. In the summer, the Reds signed Valencia's Giorgi Mamardashvili to become the 32-year-old's eventual successor, with the Georgian set to head to Anfield in 2025.
Alisson has for a long time been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, but more recently, it has sensationally been claimed that Bayern Munich were keeping tabs on his situation amid Manuel Neuer's increasing injury-proneness.

The Brazilian himself has had a growing number of fitness issues in recent years and he is currently nursing a hamstring injury that will sideline him for the next few weeks. However, on his day, Alisson is still arguably the best goalkeeper in the world.
Neuer, too, is still a very good shot-stopper, of course, but the 38-year-old has made a worrying number of high-profile mistakes since he returned from his freak leg break while skiing in late 2022.
Bayern not interested in Alisson
Given all of the above, the Bayern links to Alisson make some degree of sense. Unfortunately, there is no truth in them, according to Sky Germany.
The Brazilian has not been discussed in Munich as a potential successor to Neuer, though the club are thinking about the future. The Germany legend is out of contract in the summer and could be handed a one-year extension, with talks already underway.

Afterwards, however, Stuttgart loanee Alexander Nubel is set to become the club's new No.1. The latter signed a contract extension until 2029 earlier this year and he will spend the current season and the next at Stuttgart.
Additionally, Bayern are keeping tabs on Koln's highly-rated youngster Jonas Urbig and Brighton's Bart Verbruggen as potential options for the future.
