Manchester United could face significant interest from some of Europe’s top sides in Alejandro Garnacho with the winger reportedly 'frustrated' at his limited game time this season.

Garnacho has found himself on the bench for three of United’s six Premier League games this season despite his two goal contributions being the joint-most of any player in Erik ten Hag’s squad.

According to The Sun, Garnacho’s stop-start game time has led to Barcelona and Juventus taking interest in the 20-year-old, with both clubs monitoring him with the view of making a ‘massive’ bid to United next summer.

Garnacho still has four years remaining on his contract at Old Trafford and The Sun states that United value him at around £50 million, although that figure may still not be enough to tempt the club into a sale.

The Argentine has not publicly pushed for a transfer or complained about his game time, although the situation could develop depending on his gametime throughout the course of the campaign.

Ten Hag’s future at United may also play into Garnacho’s plans, with the forward still thought to enjoy a close relationship with the Dutchman despite his limited gametime.

Garnacho forced to compete with under-fire Rashford

Garnacho made his breakthrough at United under Ten Hag and was one of the club’s most important players last season, featuring in 36 of their 38 Premier League games.

Ten Hag has struggled to incorporate both Garnacho and Rashford into his team together, with both players preferring to play on the left wing.

Garnacho has outperformed Rashford since the start of last season, providing 13 Premier League goals to the England international’s ten.

However, Rashford has often been preferred at left wing, particularly as he is one of United’s top earners with the club keen to ensure his value or confidence doesn’t decline.

With Amad Diallo seemingly making the right wing spot his own too, United could have a decision to make about their two left-sided players next summer if the interest in Garnacho does materialise into a formal offer.
