Man Utd 'line up' spectacular double transfer
Manchester United are aiming to sign two midfielders in 2025, according to a report.
The Red Devils managed to strengthen their centre of the park in the previous transfer window with the signing of Manuel Ugarte from PSG, a move driven heavily by new CEO Omar Berrada rather than manager Erik ten Hag.
However, Man Utd's rebuild under INEOS is far from complete and more players are being targeted for that area of the pitch. Casemiro's future is in doubt and Christian Eriksen is expected to leave the club in 2025 despite being one of the revelations of the season so far.

This means that Ten Hag and company will have to bring in reinforcements next year and GIVEMESPORT reports that the aim is not to sign just one new midfielder but two, with the outlet also providing a lengthy list of targets.
Man Utd's midfield options
The report claims that five players are being 'closely monitored,' while there are at least three more names on the club's long list of potential options.
The five players in the first category are Morten Frendrup, Morten Hjulmand, Sverre Nypan, Chris Rigg and Richard Rios. Frendrup and Hjulmand are Denmark internationals who suit up for Genoa and Sporting CP, respectively, and who have repeatedly been linked with a Premier League move.

Nypan and Rigg are both 17-year-old youngsters, who are known to have been on Man Utd's radar for some time, with the club keeping tabs on the former for well over a year now. Rios, finally, plays his football for Palmeiras and is a 15-time Colombia international.
The other names that have been considered by Man Utd are Valencia prospect Javi Guerra, Atalanta stalwart Ederson and PSV's midfield maestro Joey Veerman.
