Chelsea join race for Osimhen alternative

Chelsea have reportedly joined the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush, despite Nicolas Jackson’s early-season form.
Jackson already has five goals and three assists in just eight Premier League appearances so far this campaign, with Christopher Nkunku restricted to a substitute role as a result.
Marc Guiu is also a forward option for new boss Enzo Maresca, while Joao Felix is capable of playing as a lone striker if necessary.

However, Chelsea remain interested in bolstering their forward line and are eager to sign a new centre forward in 2025.
Victor Osimhen was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer, but the Blues were unable to finalise an agreement with Napoli and he eventually joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.
Chelsea are set to rekindle their interest in the Nigerian next year, however they have also identified Marmoush as a key target, according to TEAMtalk.
The 25-year-old has netted nine goals and provided four assists in only seven Bundesliga games this term, and his progress is being monitored by a host of top European clubs.

FootballTransfers understands that Arsenal and Liverpool are both keeping a close eye on Marmoush ahead of a possible move in 2025, while Chelsea have now reportedly joined the race for his signature.
The Egypt international will have two years remaining on his current contract at Eintracht Frankfurt when the summer window opens next year, and it has been revealed that a departure in January could be possible.

The Bundesliga side have reportedly set a €60 million asking price for Marmoush, although his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at just over €17m.
The 25-year-old netted 17 goals during his debut season at Eintracht Frankfurt last year and he could become the latest Bundesliga star to earn a big-money transfer to the Premier League in 2025.
