Atalanta set asking price for brilliant Man Utd target
Atalanta have set an asking price of €60 million in order to sell star midfielder Ederson at the end of the season.
That is the consensus in the Italian media, including transfer expert Nicolo Schira.
Ederson has emerged over the last year or so as one of the best central midfielders not only in Serie A but all over Europe.

His brilliant performances for Atalanta have led to strong interest from the Premier League, with Manchester United and Liverpool particularly interested in the Brazilian.
In fact there have been reports that both teams could even try to sign Ederson in January.
Both clubs are in the market for a top central midfielder, and few fit the bill like 25-year-old.

Who is Ederson?
Ederson functions mostly as a box to box midfielder, but he can play as a defensive midfielder and as a more attacking central midfielder.
Importantly, he boasts intensity, fierce tackling and pressing, and superb stamina that sees him cover lots of ground and never stop running.
The Brazilian played a key role in Atalanta winning the Europa League last season and he produced a world class performance in the 3-0 thrashing of Bayer Leverkusen in the final.
However, Schira and others report that there is no chance of Atalanta selling Ederson in January.
They are flying high near the top of the Serie A table and also performing excellently in the Champions League.
As a selling club, though, Atalanta would be prepared to sell Ederson at the end of the season if their valuation of €60m is met.
Atalanta generally sell one big-name star each year, with Teun Koopmeiners sacrificed this past summer to Juventus for over €60m.
The feeling is that Ederson could be the next player to be sold for big money.
Ederson joined Atalanta from Salernitana in 2022 and has gone on to make over 100 appearances, scoring 10 goals.
