Sky Germany's Philipp Hinze has revealed that the forward can leave in the summer if a bid comes in between that is at least €70m-€75m or above.

Sesko was extensively linked with a move to the Premier League over the summer but no offers came and he signed a fresh deal with the Bundesliga club instead.

The reporter provided extensive detail about the future of Sesko, posting on X, formerly known as Twitter: "We cannot confirm the report about an exit clause for Benjamin Šeško next summer (EUR 90 million € ).

"According to our information, the contract extension is a gentleman's agreement. The 65 million clause was bought off and the salary was increased.

"We hear: No written clause for next summer. Agreement states that RB will be willing to talk at 70-75 million if the player wants to take the next step. Šeško is currently happy with his personal playing time and role. Currently 7 goals and 3 assists after 14 games."

The 21-year-old was linked to the Gunners and Chelsea, but both sides did not make a move for a No.9 during that period. For the Blues, it's worked out well - Nicholas Jackson is enjoying a great season so far, but for Arsenal, it's a different story.

Arsenal woes

The club are enduring a torrid season by their standards, with recent losses to Inter Milan and Newcastle, in the Champions League and the Premier League, respectively. The club sit sixth in the Premier League and, should they fail to beat Chelsea, will be ten points off the leaders Liverpool.

During the summer, Arsenal signed Raheem Sterling on loan as their only attacking addition, while Kai Havertz is their top scorer in the Premier League with just four goals.

Sesko has scored seven goals in 14 games across all competitions this season and his contract does not expire until 2029.

Despite the constant reports about his future, Sesko has publicly stated that he is very happy at RB Leipzig.

He said last month: "I don’t comment on transfer rumours. I’m happy in Leipzig and that’s why I recently extended my contract. I want to achieve even more great things here, Leipzig wants to grow a lot and I want to accompany the team on this very intriguing journey."
