Estevao issues BOLD Chelsea statement
Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao Willian has admitted he wants to “make history” when he officially joins Chelsea next summer.
The teenager will move to Stamford Bridge when he turns 18 next year and he is expected to immediately be handed a first-team role upon his arrival in west London.
Barcelona and Real Madrid were both interested in signing Estevao this summer, while Bayern Munich attempted a last-minute hijack, according to Fabrizio Romano, but he had his heart set on joining Chelsea.

Estevao recently broke Neymar’s record for the most goal involvements from an U17 player in a single season of the Brazilian top flight, with the Palmeiras talisman racking up 11 goals and eight assists so far this campaign.
While his focus remains on challenging for the Brazilian Serie A title this year, Estevao has already set himself a major goal to achieve at Chelsea.

What has Estevao Willian said?
“I want to make history and be the most successful Brazilian in the club’s history,” he said during an interview with Transfermarkt.
“I want to win titles and show my full potential, show everything I can do.”
Willian, David Luiz and Oscar have all enjoyed successful stints at Chelsea over the past decade, but Estevao is eager to eclipse their achievements during his time at Stamford Bridge.
He is expected to meet Enzo Maresca in December, and Estevao admitted that moving to London was a factor behind his decision to join Chelsea.
“Everyone is talking to me about Big Ben,” the Brazilian youngster added. “I haven’t done much research yet, but I’ve already found out a few things about it on the internet.
“I’m excited to visit London. Everyone says it’s one of the best cities in the world, that it receives a lot of tourists and everyone praises it.
“That also influenced my decision to go to Chelsea. We’ll go there at the end of the year. They say it’s cold, but we’re prepared.”
