Chelsea to fulfil star striker's Premier League dream
Juventus are determined to sign Jonathan David next summer, but Chelsea could fulfil his Premier League dream, according to Italian media.
The Canada international is out of contract in 2025 and is one of the hottest commodities on the European market. David has once again been in brilliant goalscoring form for Lille and this is attracting the attention of the biggest clubs.
David has long since been associated with a move to the Premier League. In the summer, Man Utd and Chelsea both discussed whether signing him was feasible but no transfer ultimately materialised.

Undeterred, the 24-year-old has continued to find the back of the net with impressive regularity. He has netted against Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, with Lille managing to upset both LaLiga giants.
The Ligue 1 side take on Juventus on Tuesday in what could prove to be a weird game for David.
Juventus want David - but so do Chelsea
That is because Juventus are the club most persistently pushing for the striker's signature, according to Calciomercato. The Old Lady are courting David with the promise of a signing-on fee worth up to a whopping €10 million.
Juventus feel confident that they have a good chance of signing the in-form forward, but there is a potential problem in the shape of Chelsea. The Blues are once again hot on his trail and they have a potential ace up their sleeve.

The Italian outlet claims that David dreams of a move to the Premier League, potentially tipping the balance in the Stamford Bridge outfit's favour. The 24-year-old is by no means opposed to a move to Serie A, but Chelsea "still represent the most fearsome rival in the race for the Canadian international."
