Borussia Dortmund have made a habit of refining some of the best talents in world football and the Bundesliga side are preparing to make another €100 million sale with Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham all watching on.

In recent years, Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland are just two of the leading stars to have been developed by the Signal-Iduna Park outfit, with the former leaving for €103 million – the second-highest sale in their history.

Now Dortmund are aiming to replicate Bellingham’s price tag with Jamie Gittens, who has exploded this season in the Bundesliga.

The London-born winger has three goals and three assists in the German top flight, while he has also chipped in four strikes in five Champions League outings. This has made the England U21 winger a hugely marketable player, and according to Sky Sport Germany, Gittens is wanted by Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham.

It adds that conversations between some of these clubs and Dortmund have already taken place with an eye on a future deal.

Gittens, meanwhile, is targeting a move to the Premier League but is not necessarily in a hurry to get there. It is said that he “feels at home in Dortmund” and wants to continue to make his mark at the Champions League finalists.

Indeed, he extended his contract with the club in October 2023 until June 2028.

Like Jadon Sancho, Gittens came through the youth academy of Manchester City before leaving for Dortmund on a free transfer.

BVB paid just €100,000 training compensation for the left winger and are targeting 100 times that amount when they eventually sell him.

Gittens, who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €36.1m, also shares an advisor with Sancho. Emeka Obasi is looking after his future.

Where Sancho stumbled in the Premier League, though, Gittens is seeking to thrive and he will be aware that to make the jump to an Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea or Tottenham, he will have to be fully prepared.
