The striker has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium himself but in the meantime, the Premier League giants are hoping to bring in a secondary striker.

Over the summer, Ilkay Gundogan and Savinho were the club's only signings, as they opted not to replace Julian Alvarez, who left for Atletico Madrid.

As a result, Pep Guardiola is reportedly hoping to bring in another attacker during the winter window, per GiveMeSport. The outlet states that "there is a growing possibility of Manchester City landing a new centre forward during the winter transfer window.

Haaland to replace Vinicius Jr at Real Madrid

He is reportedly the replacement for Vinicius Jr at Real Madrid, who looks increasingly likely to leave the club next year. Fichajes reports that the La Liga giants are preparing a €200 million bid for Haaland in 2025.

The plan is for Haaland to replace Vinicius Jr, who looks increasingly likely to leave Madrid at the end of the season.

Vini Jr's contract with Madrid expires in 2027 and he is not interested in extending. The Brazilian seems open to a new challenge and is also upset that he did not win the Ballon d'Or. Vinicius Jr is wanted by the Saudi Pro League, as well as Man Utd and PSG, reported The Times last week.
