Man Utd receive Amad contract update
Amad Diallo is expected to sign a new deal with Manchester United until 2027, according to reports.
The youngster scored a brace in a 2-0 win against PAOK in the Europa League on Thursday night, with the youngster's stock rising more and more.
The BBC report that his current deal expires in the summer but United have an option to extend that contract for an additional year.
The outlet revealed: "Talks have been taking place over an extension with an expectation Amad will sign a new deal that will run to 2027" and that his "future is in the hands of the new football structure at Old Trafford, with sporting director Dan Ashworth and technical director Jason Wilcox leading on contract decisions."
Amad on future
Over the summer Amad admitted that he wanted to remain at Old Trafford. "I’m happy to be here, happy to play for this club and yes, I want to stay here for a long time and make history here," he said.
The 22-year-old got his first start since early October. And he rewarded Ruud van Nistelrooy with his team selection with two goals against the Greek outfit, having shown his frustration in the same tournament last week after coming on as a substitute.
"I always try to do my best, even when I am not starting," he said. "I'm every time focused, and everyone wants to play. "We are here to play. And when you don't play, you have to give your best. Today, I try to give my best. And the most important thing was to win because it's been a long time, we didn't win in Europe so it was nice to win today.
"I know I was player of the month in August, but I have moved on. I am focused for now, for future and give my best for the shirt and get this team back on top again."
