Amorim handed REDUCED Man Utd transfer budget
Ruben Amorim will reportedly be handed a reduced transfer budget at Manchester United as INEOS look to implement a more sustainable structure at Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag spent a whopping €660 million on 21 new signings during his two-and-a-half year spell as Man Utd boss, with little success, and the club are eager to reduce costs under Amorim.
That is according to The Telegraph, who report that Amorim is set to be tasked with maximising the potential of Man Utd’s current first-team squad, rather than being given millions to spend on new players.

The Red Devils have been linked with a host of stars since appointing Amorim as Ten Hag’s permanent replacement, but the 39-year-old is set to be given a more modest budget than his predecessor.
Viktor Gyokeres, Geovany Quenda, Milos Kerkez and Jarrad Branthwaite are among the players wanted by Man Utd, however Amorim will not be given an unlimited transfer kitty to spend.
Furthermore, according to The Telegraph, Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount have been highlighted as two players who Man Utd hope will shine under Amorim following an underwhelming start to their careers at Old Trafford.

Hojlund has scored 18 goals in 55 games for the club, while Mount has only racked up 26 first-team appearances since joining from Chelsea, largely due to injury issues.
Man Utd believe that Ten Hag was unable to maximise the performances of the squad at his disposal, and the club reportedly feel that results will improve even without major investment.
What has Ruben Amorim said?
Upon his arrival at Old Trafford, Amorim issued a huge statement during his first interview with the club.
Amorim told MUTV: “I will try to do everything to put this club in the place that it belongs. And I believe a lot that we are going to succeed.
“Manchester United is the engine of the Premier League in my opinion.”
