Man Utd send TOP scout to watch Viktor Gyokeres
Manchester United reportedly sent top scout Sergio Souza to watch Viktor Gyokeres in action during Sweden’s 2-1 win over Slovakia on Saturday.
The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks and rumours have intensified following Man Utd’s appointment of Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim.
Gyokeres has developed into one of Europe’s most feared strikers under Amorim’s tutelage and Man Utd are eager to finalise a deal for the ex-Coventry City star next summer.

Recent reports suggest that Man Utd are willing to trigger the €100 million release clause included in his current contract at Sporting, with the Red Devils keen to offload Joshua Zirkzee following his underwhelming start to life in England.
Arsenal are also interested in signing Gyokeres in 2025, while Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old too.
However, Man Utd are determined to win the race for his signature and they sent Souza - one of their top Scandinavian scouts - to watch Gyokeres feature for Sweden against Slovakia, according to The Sun.
The Sporting star opened the scoring in the third minute, before providing an assist for Alexander Isak to take his tally to an incredible 36 goal contributions in 23 appearances for club and country so far this season.

Viktor Gyokeres to Man Utd?
Ahead of the November international break, Gyokeres was asked whether he is hoping to follow Amorim to Man Utd in 2025.
“He probably has some strikers there already, so we’ll see,” the Sporting star told Swedish outlet fotbollskanlen.
“No, he hasn’t [asked me to join him]. It’s fun but nothing I attach any importance to because it’s talk and nothing concrete.”
