FED UP Man Utd star offered escape route despite Amorim relationship
Ruben Amorim and Victor Lindelof played together at Benfica, but it is unlikely that their working relationship will last long at Manchester United.
The incoming Red Devils boss will have to make a few tough calls when he takes the reins on Monday. One thing Amorim will have to fix is the relationship between Lindelof and the club.
FootballTransfers revealed earlier this week that relations between the Swede's camp, namely his agency HCM Sports Management, and Man Utd are strained at present.

The 30-year-old is out of contract in the summer but would be willing to make a January exit to fetch a nominal fee. However, Man Utd have told him that they will not discuss his future until the end of the season.
This has frustrated the player but also essentially given him free rein to talk to clubs in the winter regarding a free transfer move in the summer, making it increasingly likely that his reunion with Amorim won't last longer than a few months.
Milan want Lindelof
According to CaughtOffside, AC Milan can be counted among Lindelof's suitors, with the Italian giants keen to bolster their defensive options.
In addition to Lindelof, Arsenal benchwarmer Jakub Kiwior is also one of the players the Rossoneri are monitoring. However, as reported on Wednesday, the Gunners are demanding a hefty fee for the 24-year-old.

Lindelof has only made seven appearances so far this season and his game time will likely only decrease further once Leny Yoro returns to full fitness following his metatarsal injury.
The Swede joined Man Utd for €35 million in the summer of 2017, just a few weeks after Amorim decided to hang up his boots at Benfica. Lindelof had joined the Portuguese giants in 2012, while Amorim was at the club between 2008 and 2017.
