EXCLUSIVE: Newcastle and West Ham open to Kolo Muani transfer
Paris Saint-Germain will offer Randal Kolo Muani out to clubs on a loan basis in the January window and Newcastle United and West Ham are the clubs most receptive to any such deal, FootballTransfers can reveal.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt striker is struggling to find form in Paris under Luis Enrique, who has been granted greater control over transfers since the summer.
PSG secured Kolo Muani for €95 million after his standout performance at the World Cup in Qatar and a prolific spell in Germany, where he recorded 26 goals and 17 assists in 50 appearances for Frankfurt. However, the 25-year-old may now be loaned out, with PSG reportedly eyeing a permanent transfer next summer.

Sources inform us that Newcastle are open to a loan deal for the Frenchman if favourable terms can be agreed. The club value his versatility across the forward line.
However, Newcastle’s stronger interest lies in Bryan Mbeumo, who has enjoyed a stellar start to the season. Competition for the Brentford forward is expected to be fierce, and any transfer fee exceeding €60 million could limit Newcastle’s budget for future signings.
Kolo Muani, while capable of playing effectively on the right wing, is not left-footed, which is considered a limitation. Nevertheless, his ability to both score and create goals makes him a compelling option, particularly as he might come at a reduced price. He could also supplement Alexander Isak.
If the Sweden international were to sustain a long-term injury, Newcastle would be left relying on William Osula, who has played just 10 minutes in the Premier League this season, and Callum Wilson, whose recurring injury renders him unreliable.
Man Utd and Kolo Muani
Though reports claim Kolo Muani is of interest to Manchester United, FootballTransfers has been unable to verify these reports. Ruben Amorim is still finding his footing in the role, and there is an ambition to move away from transfers that echo the former hierarchy. United have a record of making loan deals for out-of-form players during the winter window and the move never works out in their favour.

Fundamentally, we understand Ineos are focused on the English market. While the group enjoys good relations with PSG, sources suggest a deal for Kolo Muani is unlikely. Last week, we reported their interest in Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, a story that has since been extensively corroborated elsewhere. Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia face uncertain futures owing to their injury records.
Kolo Muani has managed just 11 goals and six assists in 52 PSG appearances, equating to a goal contribution every 0.32 matches. In Germany, he contributed to a goal every 0.86 games.
West Ham are also struggling for goals this season, with none of their three senior strikers - Michail Antonio, Danny Ings, and Niclas Fullkrug - scoring in the Premier League so far. Jarrod Bowen, with three goals, is their top scorer.
The London club has shown interest in Kolo Muani, but PSG will look for the highest wage offer could complicate matters. Moreover, it remains uncertain whether the player would be willing to join a team performing as poorly as West Ham.
