Klopp 'very excited' to work with Red Bull's new club
Jurgen Klopp is 'very excited' to work with Red Bull's newest club Paris FC, according to prospective buyer Antoine Arnault.
The former Liverpool manager is set to begin his new role as Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull on January 1 and will advise the drinks company's respective clubs on sporting matters.
While much of his initial work is expected to focus on recently promoted Japanese second-tier side Omiya Ardija - now named RB Omiya Ardija - to help the club improve their infrastructure and professionalism, Klopp will also soon work closer to home - in Paris.

Besides Omiya Ardija, RB Bragantino, RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg, Red Bull are now set to add Paris FC to their stable of clubs, though the Austrian company will not be a majority owner.
A majority stake in the Ligue 2 side is set to be acquired by the mega-rich Arnault family, while Red Bull will purchase a 15 per cent share and current owner Pierre Ferracci will retain 30 per cent until 2027.
Klopp excited for Paris
The takeover of the club, in the works for several weeks, is expected to be ratified before long and prospective buyer Antoine Arnault - a PSG season-ticket holder - has now given a presentation to outline the project and ambitions of the club under new ownership while also revealing the extent of Red Bull's involvement.
“Red Bull are very competent in football," Arnault said. "There were very virtuous and positive talks right from the start. The idea of working together on a football project in France interested them.
"This club will belong to my family, it will not be co-owned by the Arnault family and Red Bull. Red Bull will be minority owners. They don’t want to access multi-ownership. They are a sporting partner.

“We’ve already spent quite a lot of time with them. I have managed to talk with Klopp on numerous occasions. He is very excited by the project and the prospect of coming to work with the teams here.
“Red Bull also have absolutely revolutionary data tools which are going to help us in part with our scouting.”
