Arsenal rue transfer FAILURE as €100m bid lined up
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly willing to spend €100 million on Arsenal target Alexander Isak as they look to sign a new centre forward.
Randal Kolo Muani has barely featured at the Parc des Princes so far this season and Luis Enrique is eager to land a replacement during the 2025 summer transfer window, with Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres among his targets.
Isak is also being pursued by the Ligue 1 giants, and PSG are preparing to submit a €100m offer to beat Arsenal in the race for the Newcastle United superstar, according to Fichajes.

The Sweden international has been heavily linked with a Newcastle exit for the best part of 12 months, with Arsenal monitoring his progress at St James’ Park for several months amid their pursuit of a replacement for Gabriel Jesus.
However, Mikel Arteta’s side failed to reach an agreement with Newcastle this summer, and PSG are looking to pounce on the Gunners’ mistake in 2025.

What has been said?
Following Isak’s first ever Newcastle hat-trick against Ipswich Town on Saturday, Eddie Howe reiterated his desire to retain the 25-year-old for the foreseeable future.
“There's no part of me or anyone at Newcastle that wants to let Alex go," Howe told reporters (via BBC Sport). "He's very much part of our long-term plans. He's first class.
“He's motivated and wants to do well. He has big aspirations with his career but he's still relatively young. His desire to score goals is second to none and regarding his future, everything has been positive. I would love for him to contribute to us winning a trophy.
“I don't think contract talks have started, but he has a long contract and when the time comes that will be discussed by Alex's representatives and the football club.
“He's very popular in the dressing room and that's not always the case with an out-and-out goalscorer. He plays for the team, not just for himself, and he's always willing to learn. I can't speak highly enough of him
Howe added: “Alex is a world-class talent. The way he took his goals, he has that coolness and composure very few have. When you add into the mix his technical skills, I think he's got it all.
“He has unique skills, and the challenge is to get him into the game as much as we can. Earlier in the season we weren't doing that, but now the team are performing much better.
“He's a player with a real confidence and we're seeing a return to his really best levels - that's highlighted by the goals he has scored.”
Isak has scored 10 goals in 15 Premier League appearances so far this season, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €67.9m.
