Bayern Munich are interested in Jamie Gittens and Nico Williams, according to German media.

The pair have become some of the most in-demand wide players over the past 12 months, with their performances in the Bundesliga and LaLiga, respectively.

Gittens was already on the radar of Premier League clubs last season, but he has really kicked on this term and become a key player for Borussia Dortmund, even if he is still inconsistent.

Williams, meanwhile, is already further ahead in his development and one of the biggest stars in Spain. The Athletic Club fan favourite has yet to recapture his best form after a long summer, but he showed at Euro 2024 just how devastating he can be.

With 2025 fast approaching, these two exciting youngsters are high up on the shortlists of clubs in England and beyond.

Bayern join race

The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have been linked with both players in recent months and it is no secret that Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, in particular, is a big fan of compatriot Williams.

While both are unlikely to move in January, a summer transfer appears to be a concrete possibility and the number of potential suitors is only increasing as the months pass.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich have begun taking an interest in Williams and Gittens. The outlet reports that the Bavarians are determined to add at least one, potentially even two, 'top-tier wingers' in the summer.

Williams' potential availability has put him on the club's radar, while Gittens is rated very highly by director Max Eberl and head coach Vincent Kompany, with the two said to be 'raving' about the Englishman.

There will, of course, still be a number of moving parts between now and the summer, but Bayern are one to keep an eye on, especially after they managed to blow several Premier League clubs out of the water with their deal for Michael Olise earlier this year.
