Stuttgart are keen as there are doubts about the future of El Bilal Toure, who is currently on loan from Atalanta. Due to a broken metatarsal in his foot, he could miss the rest of the season.

There is a purchase option in Tzimas’ loan agreement that is worth €18m and it's believed that Nurnberg are considering activating this option to then sell the 18-year-old on for a profit, per Kicker. The outlet also says that Premier League clubs Tottenham, West Ham, Chelsea and Newcastle have all shown interest.

However, how strong their interest is has not yet been revealed. It's thought that Nurnberg would demand a fee that could break Stuttgart’s transfer record which was set by Deniz Undav last summer when he joined from Brighton for €26.7m following his loan spell.

Tzimas became the youngest scorer in the history of his hometown club and Greek champions PAOK. And in 12 appearances overall he has scored seven goals and provided one assist. He was also named by The Guardian as one of the best players born in 2006 worldwide.

They wrote: "A two-footed striker, he is a quick thinker, fast and physically mature, which has meant he has been able to play against older opponents for some time now. "

In an interview with Bild last month the youngster said: "I try to do my best every day and do my part to ensure a successful season. We’ll see what happens in the summer.

“I want to play in the Premier League at some point. But there is still a lot to do until then, and at the moment I am in the right place at the club for my personal development.”
