Chelsea Transfer News Today: HUGE Guehi deal, Romano’s Osimhen THREAT, Nkunku UPDATE
All the latest Chelsea transfer news, rumours and gossip. Enzo Maresca’s side are following Marc Guehi, while there is a big update on Evan Ferguson and the latest on Christopher Nkunku.
Chelsea to move for Guehi
Chelsea are interested in re-signing Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, according to TBR Football.
It is claimed that Enzo Maresca is concerned by the lack of depth in the centre-back area, where Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile are among the players who have struggled since arriving from Monaco.
Guehi, meanwhile, has shone in the Premier League with Palace. He will be on the transfer market in 2025 as his contract expires in 2026 and there is no prospect of him signing a new deal.
His value has been set around the €84 million (£70m) mark by Crystal Palace.
Christopher Nkunku: Return to sender?
Attacker Christopher Nkunku is unhappy at Chelsea due to his lack of playing time, and the possibility of returning to PSG has emerged. Sky Sports report that the Ligue 1 leaders are interested in the forward to bolster their misfiring attack.
PSG have put Nkunku on their transfer shortlist for the summer. Nothing will be finalised without the express approval of head coach Luis Enrique, with the Spaniard said to favour a move for Kvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli instead.
Chelsea, for the moment, are refusing any discussions about the possibility of Nkunku leaving, yet the player appears increasingly frustrated with his position at Stamford Bridge. He is “attracted” by the possibility of returning to PSG, where he came through the academy system and made his senior debut.
Romano reveals new Osimhen threat
Chelsea have long been following Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray for the season.
The Blues saw a move for the attacker breakdown at the last in the summer and they are widely expected to make another move for the forward in 2025.
However, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Juventus are also following the striker.
Ferguson made available by Brighton
Brighton have put striker Evan Ferguson on the transfer market, with the Republic of Ireland international having fallen out of favour with the Seagulls, The Telegraph reports.
Numerous Premier League clubs have been linked with the 20-year-old in the past, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United among the sides who have tracked him in the past.
It is reported, however, that Leicester, Fulham, West Ham United and Newcastle United are likelier suitors at this point.
Brighton are said to have put a price tag of €72m (£60m) on his head.
Blues to sign son of Arsenal legend
Chelsea are “set to sign” Watford midfielder Mathis Eboue, who is the son of former Arsenal star Emmanuel Eboue, according to the Daily Mail.
