The striker appeared to like a post on social media suggesting that he would be open to joining Manchester United.

Someone wrote a comment on his photo saying "Manchester United soon" and Cunha liked the reply.

The Brazil international joined Wolves from Atletico Madrid following an initial loan. He is currently facing a potential suspension after being charged by the Football Association earlier this week.

The charge comes from an incident during his side's 2-1 loss to Ipswich, where Cunha was seen grabbing the glasses off a member of the opposing team's staff during a post-match altercation.

United head coach Ruben Amorim made the decision last weekend to exclude Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho from the squad for the Manchester derby.

Spurs in for Cunha

It comes after sources told FootballTransfers that Spurs are prepared to engage with the Brazilian striker’s representatives, signalling their determination to sign the in-form forward.

Wolves, however, are keen to retain their star striker. We were told last week how the club is eager to open contract negotiations with Cunha and make him the highest-paid player at Molineux.

This move is seen as a proactive attempt to fend off interest from suitors like Spurs, who have identified the 25-year-old as a key target. Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked with the player, who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €25.3 million.

Any transfer will take place at a significantly higher price, with Wolves having purchased the player in 2023 from Athletico Madrid for €50m.

Cunha's strong performances have not gone unnoticed, attracting significant interest from several top clubs.

Tottenham, currently in the market for a versatile forward capable of playing across the front three, see Cunha as an ideal fit. The North London club has been monitoring his progress closely and are eager to bring him to Spurs to bolster their attacking options.

In addition to their pursuit of Cunha, Spurs also maintain strong interest in Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze. The club has been tracking Eze since the summer as part of their broader strategy to reinforce their offensive lineup
