Man Utd BOMBSHELL: Amorim makes Garnacho transfer decision
Ruben Amorim is reportedly eager for Manchester United to sell Alejandro Garnacho in 2025.
The Argentina international has started four of Amorim’s seven games in charge since his arrival at Old Trafford, but he was excluded from the matchday squad to face Manchester City on Sunday and he could be set to leave the club next year.
Garnacho developed into one of Man Utd’s most exciting young talents under Erik ten Hag, however Amorim wants to sell the 20-year-old, according to Spanish outlets Fichajes and Sport.

The new Red Devils boss reportedly believes that Garnacho isn’t suited to his preferred style of play and he is eager to offload the Argentine as he looks to make significant changes to Man Utd’s first-team squad next year.
Furthermore, Fichajes claim that Atletico Madrid are interested in re-signing Garnacho in 2025, having sold the 20-year-old to Man Utd four years ago.
The Argentina winger is seen as the “dream” signing to bolster Diego Simeone’s side, and Atleti are keen to pounce amid Garnacho’s uncertain future at Old Trafford.

Why wasn’t Alejandro Garnacho selected against Man City?
When asked why Garnacho and Marcus Rashford weren’t included in his matchday squad to face Man City on Sunday, Amorim told Sky Sports: “We try to evaluate everything. Training performance, game performances, engagement with team-mates, push their team-mates up. Everything is on the line when we analyse and try to choose the players. It is my selection. Simple.
“I don’t want to send a message, it is simply an evaluation and they know it. The players are really, really smart. Everybody understands my decision and I have to choose. It is a simple selection.
“Of course the context is difficult because we have to win games and we have a difficult situation now. I pay attention to everything, the way you eat, the way you put your clothes on to go to a game. Everything. I make my evaluation and then I decide.
“There is communication after the last training. They are alright. They had training this morning and I was there. They trained really well.”
Garnacho has three-and-a-half years remaining on his current Man Utd contract, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €37.1 million.
