Randal Kolo Muani has once again been omitted from a Paris Saint-Germain matchday squad as he nears a January departure.

The striker's stint in his hometown is going from bad to worse. Kolo Muani has failed to live up to his €95 million price tag and is evidently getting pushed out of the club now.

Despite still being a regular starter for France, Kolo Muani can no longer get a game under Luis Enrique. The 25-year-old was left out of PSG's squad at the weekend as they faced Olympique Lyon and he has now also been told to stay home for the away match against Monaco.

On Tuesday, Enrique bluntly confirmed that Kolo Muani does not have a future at the club. “I could speak about [his omission], but I won’t because my decisions say it all, even if, as I have said, all of my decisions can be changed,” the Spaniard stated.

His latest non-inclusion, for a crunch clash against Ligue 1's third-placed team no less, means that Kolo Muani is surely one step closer to leaving Paris in January.

Kolo Muani in Man Utd links

A host of clubs have been linked with the striker in recent weeks as Kolo Muani still enjoys a good reputation due to his impressive performances during his lone season at Eintracht Frankfurt.

PSG's opponents, Monaco, apparently hold an interest in a loan move but coach Adi Hutter has already acknowledged that the forward wouldn't come cheap.

Kolo Muani has also been linked with a move back to the Bundesliga in the form of a transfer to RB Leipzig, while several Premier League sides, including Arsenal and Man Utd, have also been associated with him.

The latter in particular are believed to be leading the race for his signing, but some pieces will still have to fall into place first as Man Utd need to be wary of falling foul of Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules.
