The Portuguese tactician replaced Erik ten Hag in November and the Red Devils have been heavily linked with a number of top players since his arrival.

However, Man Utd are expected to dip into the transfer market for reinforcements in 2025, despite reports suggesting that Amorim will be handed a smaller budget than the aforementioned Ten Hag.

In fact, Man Utd have identified as many as 10 players as possible targets for next year, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The Sky Germany journalist has reported that Antoni Milambo, David Raum, Viktor Gyokeres, Alex Meret, Kenan Yildiz, Victor Boniface, Theo Hernandez, Milos Kerkez, Omar Marmoush and Ederson are all being monitored by Man Utd as potential signings for 2025.

Geovany Quenda, Alphonso Davies, Ben Chilwell and Rayan Ait-Nouri are among the players who have also been linked with a move to Man Utd, but it remains to be seen if Amorim’s side will be active in January or if they will wait until the the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils have won two of their three matches in all competitions since Amorim’s arrival from Sporting CP, while they travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on Wednesday in their next Premier League fixture.

Man Utd are currently ninth in the English top flight table, following their worst ever start to a Premier League campaign, but they are now only four points behind arch-rivals Manchester City after Pep Guardiola’s recent slump.
