Paris Saint-Germain are once more firmly in the race to sign Victor Osimhen, according to Italian media.

The Nigerian striker is never not in the news. On loan at Galatasaray for the season, Osimhen has been in stunning form when he has been fit. Unfortunately for him, he has already had to deal with a couple of injury issues.

He is currently nursing a back problem, but when he has played, he's been prolific, netting 10 goals in 13 appearances so far. Unsurprisingly, then, speculation surrounding his inevitable next move has been rampant.

Though Galatasaray dream of making his loan from Napoli permanent, they are well aware that it is almost impossible to muster the €75 million required to pay his release clause.

Therefore, Osimhen will be on the move again in 2025.

PSG rival Man Utd for Osimhen

Gazzetta dello Sport now confirms that PSG are firmly back in the race for the striker, having already tried to sign him in the summer. The French giants are struggling for goals this term and want to add a reliable No.9.

They are aided in their pursuit by their sporting director Luis Campos, who was the man who initially brought Osimhen to Lille. The Italian outlet claims that Campos "knows how to approach him in a special way" and could be crucial in any talks.

This is bad news for Man Utd, who have been heavily linked with Osimhen in recent days. Despite the player publically insisting that he won't leave Galatasaray in January, the report states that a suitable could make him reconsider.

Unfortunately for Man Utd, they are unlikely to be in a position to make a move for Osimhen in the winter. Their already slim January budget has been further reduced by the shock axing of sporting director Dan Ashworth.
