Arsenal Transfer News Today: Bellingham EYED, Gyokeres SURPRISE, Williams BOOST
Arsenal have big transfer plans for the calendar year 2025, but it is still unclear just how busy they will be this month.
The Gunners continue to be linked with big guns, though the likelihood of them splashing the cash appears to be small, especially at a time when they are without a permanent sporting director.
Nevertheless, it may not be an entirely quiet window, with Mikel Arteta having openly admitted that Arsenal will be attentive to potential opportunities.

Exclusive: Arsenal interested in Bellingham
One such opportunity could be Jobe Bellingham, the younger brother of Jude. The Sunderland midfielder has gone from strength to strength since bursting onto the scene at Birmingham City and a gentleman's agreement would allow him to move to the Premier League for the right price.
Due to uncertainty surrounding the futures of Jorginho and Thomas Partey - as well as their age - Arsenal are looking at young, dynamic midfielders and Bellingham has appeared on their radar as a versatile, high-potential option.

Unpleasant Gyokeres surprise
Arsenal have been one of the sides most persistently linked with Sporting CP superstar Viktor Gyokeres. However, according to Sky Germany, Premier League rivals Man Utd and Man City are much more 'concrete' options, with the Gunners not even mentioned as suitors.
The Swedish striker is not planning to depart Lisbon this month and will instead pursue his big move in the summer. Arsenal's purported lack of interest may be a sign that they will once more target Benjamin Sesko, who was their top striker target in the previous window, or perhaps Alexander Isak.
Williams boost
Barcelona could do Arsenal not one but two favours with their reported internet in Heung Min-son. Not only would a move weaken north London rivals Tottenham but it would also likely end the Catalans' pursuit of Nico Williams.
Arsenal remain interested in the Athletic Bilbao star and it is thought that he will be on the move in the summer after deciding to stay on board for one more year in 2024.
FootballTransfers previously revealed that Arsenal would be prepared to trigger his €58m release clause this month should the player give the green light. However, it is unlikely that Williams will leave his boyhood club mid-season.
Odegaard backup targeted
Arsenal have reportedly taken an interest in Brentford star Mikkel Damsgaard as they look to sign an adequate backup for Martin Odegaard. The Dane has thrived this term, notching an impressive seven Premier League assists so far.
He wouldn't come cheap, however. It is claimed that the Bees will demand as much as €40 million for the former Sampdoria midfielder, which seems like a hefty fee for a potential backup.
