Man Utd want Ayden Heaven

Manchester United are pushing to sign Arsenal youngster Ayden Heaven this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 18-year-old has just six months remaining on his current contract at the Emirates Stadium and the Gunners are locked in negotiations with Heaven’s representatives as they look to tie him down to a long-term deal.

However, Man Utd are attempting to convince him to leave Arsenal and they are currently leading the race for his signature.

In addition to Man Utd, Heaven has also attracted interest from Eintracht Frankfurt, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Ajax.

Mikel Arteta confession

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Arsenal are working to sign reinforcements during the January transfer window.

“We lost two very important players in Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus. We lack goals, we lack people and we lack options. It’s clear,” the Arsenal boss confessed ahead of his side’s clash against Wolves on Saturday.

“If we can get the right player, that’s why we are actively looking at it. We ARE working on it, yes.”

The Gunners are actively pursuing a new forward following injuries to the aforementioned Saka and Jesus, with Benjamin Sesko currently their priority target.

However, RB Leipzig’s Marcel Schafer appears to have decisively shut down transfer talk over the 21-year-old.

“There is definitely no contact with any other club or any discussions regarding Benjamin Sesko. We are very happy to have Benji in our squad. He is one of the top attacking talents in Europe and is currently in excellent form. He will continue to wear the RB Leipzig jersey,” he recently told Sky Sport Deutschland.

Antoine Semenyo wanted

Arsenal have identified Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo as their ideal candidate to replace Saka, according to CaughtOffside.

The ex-Bristol City forward has been on Arsenal’s radar for several months and he has now emerged as a legitimate transfer target amid an injury crisis at the Emirates Stadium.

Tom Bischof truth

Arsenal were not interested in signing Hoffenheim star Tom Bischof, despite reports to the contrary.

The German midfielder has agreed to join Bayern Munich this summer and Christian Falk has confirmed that Arteta’s side weren’t in contention to land him, following heavy links with the north London outfit.

“It’s not true that Arsenal wanted to sign Tom Bischof,” Falk told CaughtOffside. “However, fellow Premier League outfit Brighton did want the talented German midfielder, along with VfB Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt and Red Bull Leipzig.

“The player is set to become a free agent this summer – as such, Bayern have capitalised and convinced the player to move to Munich, securing his signature on a contract lasting til 2029.

“This will have consequences for FC Bayern midfielder Leon Goretzka who will, as a direct result, come onto the market in the summer.”
