Chelsea star AGREES Aston Villa transfer - Romano
Chelsea defender Axel Disasi has reportedly agreed personal terms with Aston Villa ahead of a possible January move to the club.
The France star has played a peripheral role at Stamford Bridge so far this season and he has now reached an agreement to join Unai Emery’s side following the departure of Diego Carlos.
Carlos, 31, has joined Fenerbahce for €10 million and after identifying Disasi as their ideal replacement, Villa have now agreed personal terms with the Chelsea star, as per Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer expert posted on X: “Axel Disasi has agreed on personal terms with Aston Villa.
“Disasi wants to join Villa despite interest from more clubs around Europe after direct talk with Unai Emery, crucial to get the green light.
“Deal now up to Chelsea and Villa to reach full agreement.”

Chelsea signed Disasi from AS Monaco for €45m in 2023, but his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has plummeted to €20.9m amid his lack of game time so far this season.
Disasi has only made six Premier League appearances in 2024-25, while he has been omitted from Chelsea’s matchday squad on eight occasions since the appointment of Enzo Maresca last summer.
The Blues opted to recall Trevoh Chalobah from his loan spell at Crystal Palace earlier this month and his return to the club has opened the door for Chelsea to offload Disasi.
Axel Disasi to join Aston Villa?
It remains to be seen if Aston Villa will reach an agreement with Chelsea regarding Disasi’s transfer fee, but Emery’s side are pushing to complete a deal before the January window slams shut.
The 26-year-old is capable of playing at centre-back or right-back, and news of his agreement with Villa comes following the knee injury suffered by Tyrone Mings against West Ham United on Sunday.
