EXCLUSIVE: Everton target Club Brugge superstar Christos Tzolis
FootballTransfers understands that Greek international Christos Tzolis has drawn interest from Everton as David Moyes looks to strengthen his forward line before the close of the January transfer window.
We are told that the Club Brugge winger is being considered alongside Lyon attacker Ernest Nuamah, who was already a target for the Toffees in the summer.
Tzolis is no stranger to English football, having joined Norwich City in August 2021 from Greek side PAOK for an undisclosed fee. At the time, he was also linked with Manchester United, who were monitoring his progress.
Despite a challenging spell at Norwich, the 22-year-old has revitalised his career over the past two seasons, first excelling on loan at 2. Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf and now starring in Belgium.

Why Everton want Tzolis
Tzolis finished the 2023/24 campaign as the German second tier's joint-top scorer with an impressive 22 goals primarily from his left-wing position. He almost fired Fortuna into the Bundesliga, but his side collapsed in the second leg of their promotion play-off against Bochum.
Düsseldorf triggered their €3.5 million purchase option to make his loan from Norwich permanent in the summer, but as the club actually couldn't afford the Greek international, they straight away admitted that he would eventually be sold on for a profit.
Belgian giants Club Brugge pounced, signing him for €6.5m, and he has continued his fine form this season. In 32 appearances across all competitions, he has notched 12 goals and recorded eight assists.

All told, Tzolis has scored 36 goals and provided 18 assists over the past two campaigns, showcasing his ability to make an impact both as a finisher and a creator.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Everton now expressing interest in bringing him back to the Premier League.
Under Moyes, Everton are in search of versatile attacking options and Tzolis fits the bill perfectly. Capable of playing as a winger or forward, he offers the flexibility Moyes needs to reinvigorate Everton’s attack.
With the 22-year-old thriving in Belgium and proving his quality on the European stage, Everton could face competition from other suitors if they decide to make a move.
However, the prospect of a return to England under an experienced manager like Moyes might appeal to the Greek international as he continues to build on his impressive season.
