Real Madrid to pay HUGE Alexander-Arnold fee
Real Madrid are ready to spend lavishly to seal the signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool.
Alexander-Arnold is out of contract with Liverpool at the end of the season, opening the door to Los Blancos signing him as a free agent.
The possibility of landing him immediately and paying the Anfield club a sizeable transfer fee has also been discussed, yet Carlo Ancelotti’s side appear unlikely to come to an agreement with the Premier League leaders over such a deal.

Real Madrid are willing to spend up to €40 million on a right-back during January, and unless Liverpool lower their demand for Trent to this figure, no deal will be struck. Presently, Arne Slot’s side are thought to be asking for something in the region of €70-80m for Alexander-Arnold.
But just because Ancelotti’s men want to sign the England star without a transfer fee does not mean that he is going cheap, as Fichajes explains.

Alexander-Arnold to cost €18m
Real Madrid are set to spend €18m on Alexander-Arnold, with this figure going towards the player’s signing bonus and other fees associated with the deal, such as for the agent.
It therefore promises to be a lucrative opportunity for the player, who has shown no signings of remaining at Anfield, where he has come through the youth ranks and played 339 matches.
He is one of the top earners at Liverpool, where he reportedly draws an annual wage of around €11m per year.
The Reds are thought to have offered him an improved contract in order to keep him at Anfield, but Alexander-Arnold’s desire to leave and sign for Real Madrid appears to be motivated by a desire to try a new challenge abroad rather than finances.
Los Blancos are crying out for a new right-back following an injury to Dani Carvajal, so it would be little surprise to see them test Liverpool’s resolve of Alexander-Arnold’s transfer fee at least once more before January is out.
