Liverpool Transfer News: Saudis want Mo Salah IN and Neymar OUT
It still seems incredible, but Mo Salah could be on the brink of a Liverpool exit.
The English Premier League's best player right now is astonishingly coming to the end of his contract on Merseyside, seemingly with no sign of an extension on the horizon.
So far talks with Liverpool owners FSG (Fenway Sports Group, always owners of the Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Penguins) have hit a brick wall with Salah revealing just last week that this is his final year at the club.

Despite the fact Salah has once again been sensational this season (19 goals and 15 assists already in 2024-25) there appear to be few actual suitors to sign him. Remember as of January 1 he was free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with interested clubs, with his Anfield contract set to expire on June 30.
Al Hilal want Mo Salah
The biggest interest comes from the moneybags Saudi Pro League, who have pockets deep enough to pay Salah a handsome salary. And reigning champions Al Hilal are now apparently ready to do just that.
Respected Spanish daily AS says Al Hilal would like to recruit the 32-year-old Egyptian superstar to replace another huge name in the form of Brazilian Neymar.
The insane cost of Saudi flop Neymar
Neymar has been a spectacular disappointment since moving to the Saudi Pro League from PSG for a huge 90million Euros fee. Injuries - notably an ACL tear - have limited him to just seven games so far.
Couple that inactivity with his huge transfer fee and salary and the Neymar experiment has apparently cost Al Hilal an eye-popping 56million Euros PER GAME.
Neymar to MLS and Inter Miami?
Neymar's future would almost certainly appear to lie away from Al Hilal, with several potential options on the table.
A return to his native Brazil is not out of the question, but the biggest carrot might be a move to the MLS and Inter Miami. That of course would see him team up with one Lionel Messi.
