"It's the last six months. There is no progress [on contract talks]. We are far away from any progress, so we just have to wait and see." This will be music to the ears of his numerous suitors, with Salah looking better than ever despite his age.

The Reds legend has scored an absurd 20 goals and provided 17 assists in 26 appearances across all competitions, which has only increased the interest in his services.

Salah receives PSG offer

Salah's comments come just days after reports from France surfaced, claiming that PSG were offering the winger a significantly better contract than Liverpool.

Whereas the Premier League side had proposed a two-year deal with a €400,000 per week salary, PSG were prepared to pay him €500,000 per week for three years.

Salah is known to have a good relationship with PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi, though the latter previously played down links with the Egyptian. The attacker, of course, also still has suitors in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi clubs previously tried to convince Liverpool to sell by offering in excess of €100 million for Salah, but the Reds held firm. Now, however, they face the threat of losing him for nothing.
