Man Utd outcast announces intention to STAY despite transfer offers
Altay Bayindir is determined to stay at Manchester United, according to his agent.
The Turkish goalkeeper has had a torrid time at Old Trafford so far. Bayindir joined Man Utd in the summer of 2023 to provide competition for new No.1 Andre Onana, but he has not managed to supplant his counterpart.
On the contrary, Bayindir has been almost a forgotten man. To date, the former Fenerbahce star has only made four appearances for the Red Devils, conceding eight goals.

Most recently, he featured in the Carabao Cup against Tottenham but didn't cover himself in glory. He conceded directly from a corner and it has subsequently been claimed that Ruben Amorim is not convinced by him - or even Onana - and wants to bring in fresh faces between the sticks.
Heading into 2025, it was expected that Bayindir would try to get out of Manchester as quickly as possible in search of becoming a No.1 elsewhere, but it seems that this may not be the case after all.
Bayindir to stay?
At least that is according to his representative Sefa Seyrek. Speaking to Sports Digitale, the agent claimed that Bayindir was determined to fight for his place at Man Utd despite significant interest.
“There were offers from many European clubs and the Premier League for Altay at the beginning of the season," Seyrek said. "There are currently clubs that are interested, but Altay wants to stay and play for Manchester United. The club definitely does not want to let Altay go.”

While perhaps eyebrow-raising, it seems that this statement only pertains to the January window. It is unlikely that Bayindir will remain at Man Utd beyond this season, especially as the club have reportedly already identified Antwerp's Senne Lammens as a replacement.
