Dorgu to Man Utd: Fabrizio Romano sends 'NO DOUBT' message
Fabrizio Romano has 'no doubt' that Manchester United will sign a left wing-back amid talk of a fresh bid for Patrick Dorgu.
The Red Devils have kickstarted their January business in recent days as negotiations over the potential exits of Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Marcus Rashford are becoming increasingly advanced, which would free up resources for reinforcements.
The No.1 priority identified by Ruben Amorim is adding a left wing-back who suits his preferred back-three system more than the unreliable, injury-prone Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, with the latter expected to depart the club this month.

With Nuno Mendes, Alphonso Davies and other options proving unattainable, Man Utd have firmed up their interest in Lecce star Patrick Dorgu, who can feature in defence but also on the wing, making him a very attractive player.
In fact, the Red Devils even launched their first formal bid, offering €27 million for the 20-year-old. However, Lecce rebuffed the approach as they are demanding closer to €40m.
Man Utd will sign a wing-back
According to Ben Jacobs, Man Utd are set to make a fresh bid for Dorgu shortly, although they are not prepared to match Lecce's demands. Despite this, it is claimed that there is confidence that an agreement can be reached.
Indeed, Fabrizio Romano insists that there is 'no doubt' that Man Utd will sign a left wing-back. If Dorgu proves unattainable, Man Utd could seek to bring back Alvaro Carreras, who starred against Barcelona on Tuesday despite also giving away a penalty.

Man Utd are known to have an €18m buy-back clause for Benfica full-back and former manager Erik ten Hag already revealed prior to his sacking that the club were closely following the Spaniard's development.
Lecce, meanwhile, appear to have resigned themselves to losing Dorgu as they are in talks to sign Estrela full-back Danilo Veiga as a potential replacement for the Denmark international, who has primarily featured on the right-wing this term.
