Man Utd identify SURPRISE Rashford replacement - Romano
Manchester United have identified RB Salzburg winger Nene Dorgeles as a potential replacement for Marcus Rashford, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Rashford is on his way out of Old Trafford, with talks over an exit this month heating up. His brother and agent Dwaine Maynard has held face-to-face talks with AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund bosses in recent weeks, while other clubs have enquired about the 27-year-old.
The 27-year-old also has suitors at Juventus and Barcelona after admitting in December that he is looking for a new challenge this year. Man Utd are open to an initial loan, but Rashford's wages are proving a stumbling block.

Nevertheless, it seems that an exit is only a matter of time. Transfer insider David Ornstein is confident that Rashford will move this month, while Man Utd are evidently already lining up potential replacements, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Man Utd eye Dorgeles
The Italian transfer expert reports that Man Utd have added RB Salzburg winger Nene Dorgeles to their shortlist of transfer options. The Red Devils have enquired about him to get an idea of what it would take to sign him.
It is unclear if they will pursue the 22-year-old left-winger this month or in the summer, but they hold a genuine interest in the Mali international. In 27 appearances across all competitions, Dorgeles has notched six goals and six assists so far.

Dorgeles signed for Salzburg in 2021 and spent time at Austrian sides Liefering - Salzburg's farm team - and Ried before getting loaned to Belgian outfit Westerlo. He has been a regular with the Red Bulls since 2023, recording five goals and four assists last season.
At this point, it is unclear how much Dorgeles would cost or if he has a release clause. He extended his contract until 2028 last September.
