Man Utd Transfer News Today: Rashford deal APPROVED, Garnacho PRICE, Osimhen DREAM
Manchester United have officially wrapped up their first signing of the Ruben Amorim era.
Diego Leon was in Manchester on Monday to complete his medical and sign his contract, but of course, the 17-year-old will only be able to join the club in the summer.
Regarding proper January business, things are looking rather bleak due to the club's worrying Profit and Sustainability situation, which means that the Red Devils will only be able to sign players if they sell first. Unsurprisingly, potential outgoings dominate the headlines.

Marcus Rashford deal approved
Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is fully backing the club's interest in Marcus Rashford, according to Sport. Talks are still at an early stage, but the Blaugrana are confident that they can bring in the England international.
President Joan Laporta announced on Tuesday morning that the club had returned to the much talked about 1:1 rule, which allows them to freely utilise all of their extra revenue.
Flick has greenlit Barcelona's pursuit of Rashford as he feels that his side needs attacking reinforcements despite the stunning form of left-winger Raphinha this season.
Fabrizio Romano revealed on Monday that RB Salzburg winger Nene Dorgeles is a potential option to replace Rashford at Man Utd, with club scouts feeling that he is 'underrated.' However, it is not yet clear if they will pursue him this month or in the summer.

Alejandro Garnacho price set
Another outgoing could be Alejandro Garnacho, who is no longer considered untouchable due to Man Utd's need to raise 'pure profit.' Napoli hold an interest in the winger after agreeing a deal with PSG for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Sky Italia reports that Man Utd would agree to do business with Napoli if they were to offer €60 million to €70m for the young Argentine.
Garnacho is said to be the Serie A giants' top target to replace Kvaratskhelia, who will flush in excess of €70m into the club's coffers this month.
Victor Osimhen dream
Ben Jacobs has confirmed that Man Utd 'dream' of signing Victor Osimhen but that an actual deal is difficult to realise despite his price dropping to €75m.
"Nothing is possible in January and Osimhen, even though that might sound strange, has not changed his mind," he told The United Stand.
"He still wants his next move to be permanent. So the whole 'nearly joined Chelsea, nearly joined Saudi, didn't get either, went temporarily to Turkey' hasn't made the player think 'maybe I ought to contemplate a loan with an option.'
"Osimhen has said, 'if you want me, you sign me permanently' whether at that €75m release clause or a different kind of package like a loan with an obligation. Add to that €250,000 a week and Man Utd may find that difficult."
Left-back blows
Despite wrapping up the signing of Diego Leon, Man Utd's left-back situation still leaves a lot to be desired and it is looking increasingly like this won't change in January.
Bournemouth have made it clear to Man Utd that Milos Kerkez is not on the market this month, according to GIVEMESPORT, while CaughtOffside claims that other suitors could beat the Red Devils to the punch in the chase for Lecce star Patrick Dorgu.
Last week, it was also reported in Italy that Theo Hernandez is close to extending his deal with AC Milan, while 'dream' target Alphonso Davies is also on the verge of signing fresh terms with Bayern Munich.
