Arsenal have received a €135 million offer for Declan Rice, according to a sensational report in Spain.

The England international joined Mikel Arteta’s side from West Ham United for €116.6m in 2023 and he has developed into a pivotal player at the Emirates Stadium since his arrival.

However, Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing the 26-year-old as Luis Enrique searches for midfield reinforcements and they have submitted an initial offer of €135m in an attempt to sign Rice.

That is according to a bombshell report from Spanish publication Fichajes, who claim that Arsenal will only consider a sale if they receive a bid in excess of €160m.

However, Mikel Arteta is determined to keep Rice in north London as he chases a first Premier League title in charge of Arsenal and a summer departure to PSG is therefore unlikely.

The Parisians’ interest in Rice comes after they received an enquiry about the potential availability of Warren Zaire-Emery from Manchester City during the January transfer window.

Although Pep Guardiola’s side were put off by his €100m asking price, they could feasibly return this summer, hence why PSG are searching for a possible new central midfielder.

Arsenal’s summer transfer plans

While Arsenal are determined to retain Rice this summer, they are expected to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, with both Jorginho and Thomas Partey set to depart on free transfers.

Furthermore, the Gunners will pursue big-money deals for Nico Williams and Benjamin Sesko, although Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak is also on their radar.

The Sweden international is one of Arsenal’s primary summer transfer targets, but he is likely to cost a Premier League record transfer fee of at least €150m, according to multiple reports, which is set to complicate a potential deal.

Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia is also a key target for Arteta as the Gunners look to sign a reliable back-up to David Raya.
