Spain internationals Dean Huijsen and Nico Williams are open to joining Chelsea this summer, according to a report.

After a relatively calm January transfer window, at least in terms of incomings, Chelsea are gearing up for a big summer to help Enzo Maresca and his side reach the next level.

Chelsea have been much improved compared to the previous two seasons this term, but as Maresca has repeatedly insisted, the Blues are still some way off the highest level in the Premier League.

This means that it will be another free-spending summer at Stamford Bridge and a host of potential reinforcements have already been identified. Despite already having a deal in place for Strasbourg's Mamadou Sarr, Chelsea want to add another centre-back in the next window.

Former academy graduate Marc Guehi is one name under consideration, while breakout Bournemouth start Dean Huijsen has recently shot up the club's shortlist courtesy of his impressive performances.

Additionally, Chelsea want to add a left winger, with Alejandro Garnacho, Karim Adeyemi and Nico Williams all being monitored.

Huijsen, Williams keen on Chelsea

According to TEAMtalk , Spain internationals Huijsen and Williams are keen to join Chelsea in the summer, with both players expected to move after the current season.

Williams snubbed a transfer to Barcelona last summer to try and reach the Europa League final on home soil at San Mames with Athletic Club. He has a €58 million release clause and seems to be almost guaranteed to belatedly leave his boyhood club.

Amsterdam-born Huijsen, meanwhile, only joined Bournemouth in the summer, but his displays since coming into the team have made him one to watch for the next transfer period as he is still only 19 and already excelling in the Premier League.

The above-mentioned report states that Huijsen has a €60m release clause in his contract that Bournemouth are scrambling to try and get rid of. However, the teenager knows that he has big-name suitors and may reject a new deal if it were to jeopardise a potential transfer.
