Fabrizio Romano confirms Man Utd deal AFTER transfer deadline
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester United will complete a deal on Tuesday despite the English transfer window closing on Monday.
The January transfer window closed for Europe’s big nations on Monday evening but it is still open for a while longer for some countries.
The Dutch transfer window does not close until later on Tuesday, and Romano reports that Man Utd will loan Tyrell Malacia to PSV.

The Italian transfer journalist says that United are finalising details of the loan on Tuesday and it will be made official later in the day.
Malacia is already in the Netherlands in order to complete the move.
Man Utd decided to loan out Malacia as he has endured an injury-hit season with the Red Devils.

Malacia has played just nine times in all competitions and only appeared on the pitch once as a nine-minute substitute in the Premier League in 2025.
The arrival of Patrick Dorgu from Lecce for €30m plus €5m in add-ons pushed Malacia further down the pecking order.
PSV were in the market for a left back and Malacia jumped at the chance to reignite his career with a team who are top of the Eredivisie and still in the Champions League.
The 25-year-old was signed by Man Utd in the summer of 2022 from Feyenoord for €15 million but has managed only 47 appearances for the club.
Third time lucky for Malacia
Malacia was previously close to moving to Benfica last week only for the deal to collapse at the last moment. The defender had even jetted to Portugal before Man Utd decided that the deal would be pulled.
He was also close to moving to Serie A earlier in the January transfer window.
Malacia, though, was eager to play regular first-team football in the second half of the season and seems likely to get that opportunity in the Netherlands.
Man Utd spent much of the January transfer window offloading fringe players.
In addition to Malacia, they also loaned out Marcus Rashford to Aston Villa on loan with an option to buy. Antony was loaned out to Real Betis in the hope he can raise his value ahead of the January window after a disastrous €100m move from Ajax.
