Man Utd find creative solution to Amorim's BIGGEST transfer issue

Manchester United are hoping to have a creative solution to their striker issues this summer as they look to rebuild Ruben Amorim’s squad under PSR constraints and also shift on their own deadwood.
United are expected to make wholesale changes to their team in the summer after a disastrous campaign so far that sees Amorim’s men sit 14th in the Premier League.

However, their plans will hinge on the ability to first sell off high earners and poor performers, with a striker said to be among Amorim’s highest priorities.
Only five teams have scored fewer goals than United this season and their main forwards in Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund have just five league goals between them.
With Zirkzee only having joined the club last summer, United are keen to sell Hojlund, who has failed to live up to expectations since his €74 million transfer from Atalanta in 2023.
United had been concerned that they would not be able to generate permanent interest in Hojlund due to his poor form this season but the 22-year-old could now prove to be the key to their transfer plans this summer.

United to tempt Napoli in swap offer for Osimhen
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, United will look to offer Hojlund as part of a deal for Victor Osimhen, who is deemed the Premier League side’s priority target this summer.
Osimhen will be allowed to leave Napoli this summer and the 26-year-old has a €75m release clause in his contract, however that amount is proving difficult for United to reach.
Instead, the report claims that United will tempt Napoli with an offer of €40m plus Hojlund, knowing that the Serie A giants had previously tracked the Danish striker prior to his move to England.
Although Hojlund has just 12 Premier League goals in 52 games, the youngster has netted ten times in 14 European matches, having also shown quality during his sole season in Italy and suggesting that Napoli may still see potential in such a deal.
Napoli have also held a long-standing interest in Alejandro Garnacho and a swap deal for him or Hojlund may prove to be an effective way for both sides to solve their respective issues, with Osimhen also having no future at the club.
