Man Utd issue ‘PANIC BUY’ message amid Tel rumours
Manchester United are not going to be drawn to making late moves in the transfer window purely for the sake of it, with the Red Devils insisting that they will not panic buy before the deadline.
It’s been a frustrating transfer window for the Old Trafford club, who have so far only managed to sign Patrick Dorgu from Lecce to add to Ruben Amorim’s squad.

With the Red Devils languishing in the lower half of the Premier League table, this is a far from ideal scenario for the club, but Old Trafford officials insist that any deal they do conduct before the transfer window closes will be done with the future firmly in mind.
Head coach Amorim previously indicated that United will “try everything” to sign a centre-forward after he started Kobbie Mainoo as a false 9 in Sunday’s 2-0 loss against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
While there is still a chance the Red Devils could land Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea, this would likely see Alejandro Garnacho move in the opposite direction. Meanwhile, a deal for Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel looks unlikely.

The Manchester Evening News reports that the Red Devils are certainly not panicking about the situation.
“No prospective deal is currently developing and sources have stressed United have no intention of recruiting any short-term or stop-gap players who could compromise the club's budget in the summer,” it states.
Amorim: Man Utd trying everything to make signings
This message echoes what Amorim said after the loss to Crystal Palace.
“We are trying everything to improve the team without doing mistakes of the past,” Amorim said on Sunday “And trying to balance the urgency of the moment. We know all of the aspects of our club in the moment but we are trying everything. There is one more day, let’s wait until the window closes.
“This market is really hard on the clubs. To make some deals here, it’s hard.
“We are trying everything, guys, we want so bad to improve, I want so bad to improve the team. I know what the team needs. But sometimes it’s possible or not, but we are trying everything.”
Man Utd face a nervy summer due to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Regulations (PSR), which could force them to make unwelcome sales, such as those of Garnacho or Mainoo.
