Hojlund facing Man Utd AXE with Premier League rivals circling
Rasmus Hojlund faces a fight for his Manchester United future with Ruben Amorim likely to take advantage of Premier League interest in the misfiring Dane this summer.
Hojlund has netted just two Premier League goals in 19 appearances this season and Amorim is understood to be unconvinced that the 22-year-old is capable of being his leading striker.
United’s failure to sign a forward during the January transfer window has given Hojlund a lifeline, with the Danish youngster facing a pivotal end to the season if he is to remain at Old Trafford.

However, United will look to cash in on Hojlund despite being aware that they will be unlikely to recoup the €74 million they spent on him in 2023, with a fee of around €50m set to be the asking price.
According to TEAMtalk/i>, West Ham have identified Hojlund as a potential target should they not turn Evan Ferguson’s loan into a permanent move after signing the Brighton youngster on a temporary basis in January.
Ferguson’s loan does not include a buy option and, should the 20-year-old prove his form with the Hammers, they would likely face a battle to sign him permanently, leading to interest in Hojlund as an alternative.
Hojlund set to be big name exit in mass Man Utd clearout
Hojlund had a bright debut season with United, scoring ten league goals, but his second year has proven frustrating and led to question marks over his suitability in Amorim’s system.
United had previously suggested Hojlund was unsellable, particularly with his record of 10 goals in 13 European games proving encouraging, but the ex-Atalanta star’s struggles in the league has caused Amorim to seek a replacement.
With United still looking to revamp their entire squad, almost every player will be considered up for sale as the club aim to provide more quality and depth to Amorim.
Juventus could also make an approach for Hojlund in the summer if they lose Dusan Vlahovic as anticipated, particularly if they fail to extend Randal Kolo Muani’s stay at rhe club.
