Manchester United will again listen to offers for Alejandro Garnacho in the summer, according to a report.

The Argentine winger is enduring a difficult season. After proving so eminently important to Man Utd last term, Garnacho's current season couldn't be more different.

The 20-year-old has struggled to hit the same heights as before and he was even banished from Man Utd's squad by Ruben Amorim in December. Unlike Marcus Rashford, Garnacho managed to work his way back into the picture.

However, his performances and particularly his offensive output are a far cry from his best level. In 25 Premier League appearances, the attacker has only managed three goals and an assist so far this season.

Due to Man Utd's financial difficulties, they were open to offers for Garnacho in January and he was the protagonist of a protracted Chelsea and Napoli saga, but nothing ultimately materialised.

Garnacho to leave Man Utd in the summer?

Speculation surrounding his future has continued unabated even with the transfer window long closed. Man Utd's economic problems remain and Garnacho, despite his form slump, is still one of the Red Devils' most valuable assets.

Indeed, according to Ben Jacobs, Man Utd could still seek to cash in on the youngster in the summer in a bid to raise funds in order to be able to allow Amorim to rebuild the team in his image.

"There's still a feeling, even though it'd be a reluctant sale, that Alejandro Garnacho is a player that, on the books, could be very valuable and in the same way that Manchester United would have considered a sale in January, it will be the case again for financial reasons in the summer too," Jacobs told GIVEMESPORT.

There could be a veritable winger clearout at Old Trafford in the summer, with the journalist also stating that Marcus Rashford and Antony are likely to leave Man Utd permanently in the upcoming transfer window.
